The presence of Israel as a people, and of Judaism as a vibrant religion, challenges Christians to rethink their theology. This volume draws on the covenantal, redemptive-historical structure of Reformed theology to engage with this challenge and contribute to post-supersessionist theology. The challenge is hermeneutical: Israel's existence affects Christian understanding of the Bible and the Christian faith. It is particularly urgent in our context of both rising antisemitism and an increasing awareness of the theological problems of Zionism. Four Jewish authors respond to the Biblical, Historical, and Systematic Theological contributions of this book.
